Good morning commuters.

We start the rush hour with a serious crash on Cedar Avenue near the Minnesota River where a vehicle went off the road and landed well off the highway in the center median. Emergency vehicles are on the scene. Look for slow traffic in the area.

I'll be keeping tabs on the roads and rails this morning and letting you know where you will encounter delays and problems. I could use your help, too.

If you see any congestions, delays, accidents or issues on the roads, send an e-mail to or a tweet to @stribdrive.

Roads are good condition. It's mild out there for December standards with readings in the upper 30s. Look for a mix of sun and clouds today and highs in the 40s, according to meteorologist Paul Douglas.
