Good morning, commuters!

We start Thursday with dry roads and a few overnight road projects that are still in progress.

You will find the left lane of northbound Hwy. 169 blocked at County Road 18 up to Old Shakopee Road.

On eastbound 494, look for the road work in the left lane at France Avenue and on westbound 494 at Lyndale Avenue. That should be out of there by 6 a.m.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
