Good morning, commuters!

Interstate 494 at Cedar Avenue is wide open following a weekend closure to dismantle the northbound Cedar Avenue bridge.

Starting today, W. 36th Street between Park Center Boulevard and Xenwood Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction Crews will work on one side of the bridge while motorists travel on the opposite side. Plan on that to be in place for a month.

We have no problems to speak of as we begin another week. I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
