Good morning, commuters!
There ought to be lots of rejoicing in the south metro where I-35 from County Road 70 to County Road 50 is back to full strength. All lanes in both directions are open following a couple weeks of road construction that had the freeway down to one lane in each direction.
It looks as if some animals are running loose on the road on Hwy. 61 near I-494 in Newport.
I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.
If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
