Good morning, commuters!

Expect another tough drive to work as roads are still slick and snow covered in spots. After Thursday's dashpounding evening commute, many folks are getting an early start.

Traffic volumes are up for this time of the day, and with that we have had a number of crashes and spinouts.

Among those that police are currently dealing with include a rollover crash on eastbound 694 at Hwy. 61 in the White Bear Lake area.

Look out for a couple cars in the ditch on southbound 35W between County Road 10 and I-694. Slippery roads also led to a crash on westbound Hwy. 10 at 7th Avenue in Anoka.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
