Kandiyohi County man pinned under riding lawn mower dies

A 79-year-old man from south-central Minnesota was killed Thursday when he was pinned under a riding lawn mower.

A 79-year-old man from south-central Minnesota was killed Thursday when he was pinned under a riding lawn mower.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office was called about noon to the 14000 block of 1st Avenue E. in Atwater, where they found the man pinned under the mower in a ditch. His home was nearby.

The man's name isn't being released until relatives are notified, according the Sheriff's Office.
