And not because it isn't any good. The courts still don't consider that sufficient reason to prevent a release. Yet.
It's based on a true story, too. The distributors are being sued by the movie's French producers, who want the movie back. The entire story can be found here, if you wish. Print it off and give it to your children who want to be actors, and point out that a career in entertainment law is much more lucrative, and also a form of acting. You have to pretend to be outraged over everything.
The release date has now been changed to "October," but they don't say which year, and the movie's website has gone down the memory hole, too. The imdb page is still up with reviews, if you're curious.
