Post time: 6:30 p.m. Best bet: Closet E (7th Race). Best play: 50 cent—pick 4, (2,3,5,6,8,9/4/All/2,3), $54.

1 350 yards. State-bred. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Maiden. Purse: $13,000

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Tricky Tip (Richard, McKinley)126/6-1

2: Crashed On Corona (Golibrzuch, Miller)124/6-5

3: Ls Little Effort (Eikleberry, Johnson)124/4-1

4: Itsallaboutme (Delorme, Backhaus)126/8-1

5: Well Heeled Magoo (Goodwin, Fennell, Jr.)124/6-1

6: La Lupita (Beaty, Weidner)124/10-1

7: Shakemupbayb (Swiontek, Black)124/12-1

CRASHED ON CORONA had a couple of diseased breaks and deserves another shot with clean start. ITSALLABOUTME hit the board last two efforts out of state. Ls LITTLE EFFORT should be in main body of runners without all the drama breaking from the gate.

2 6 furlongs. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $12,500. Purse: $14,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Flasha (Sanchez, Scherbenske)119/10-1

2: Mojave Secret (Eikleberry, Turco)123/8-1

3: Corruption (Mello, Anderson)123/12-1

4: Initiative (Carreno, Diodoro)123/2-1

5: Hansboro (Nolan, Sweere)123/6-1

6: Barbwirebilly (Goncalves, Amoss)119/5-2

7: Bronco Dave (A. Canchari, Berndt)119/9-2

INITIATIVE was non committal last out after being used early in allowance race, one to beat if regains prior form. BARBWIREBILLY also was a non threat against tougher last out but could get dream stalking trip letting the front runners do all the dirty work. HANSBORO looms the late closing threat and comes in with quick bullet drill.

3 About 11⁄16 miles. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Maiden claiming: $20,000. Purse: $14,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Cernobbio (Eikleberry, Brinson)123/3-1

2: R K's Afleet (Lopez, Jr., Sweere)123/4-1

3: English Gent (Carreno, Rhone)123/8-1

4: Schindlers Risk (Sanchez, Schindler)123/5-1

5: Moecaro (Franco, Lund)118/15-1

6: Giant Gamble (Goncalves, Keller)118/12-1

7: Bluffs Edge (Butler, Rhone)123/2-1

8: Ready's Gamble (P. Canchari, Berndt)118/12-1

With no speed in the field, I wouldn't be shocked to see BLUFFS EDGE head to the lead going gate to wire as Butler has been killing it on the lawn. R K's AFLEET ran into some overcrowding last out but still managed get up for second best, could gather up foes like kids gathering up eggs on a easter hunt. CERNOBBIO got blocked late in closing last spin but could prove tough to fend off with clean trip.

4 5½ furlongs. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Allowance optional claiming: $35,000. Purse: $32,000

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Hazardous (Eikleberry, O'Callaghan)123/7-2

2: Flying Frank (Sanchez, Padilla)119/6-1

3: Candy Ruby (Carreno, Diodoro)115/5-2

4: Jamaican Memories (Vergara, Van Winkle)119/6-1

5: Rockin Home (Franco, Van Winkle)119/8-5

6: Solomon (Goncalves, Lund)115/10-1

HAZARDOUS won last out coming from off the pace and should receive the same sizzling quick fractions, perfect set up for back to back wins. ROCKIN HOME finished right behind Hazardous after getting caught late, seeks retaliation. JAMAICAN MEMORIES will be flying the coop late and will benefit from contested fractions, problem is he has let me down a couple times already, best used for minor awards.

5 1 mile 70 yards. State-bred. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $10,000. Purse: $10,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Luxury and Glitter (Tapia, LaVanway)123/12-1

2: Minnie Soda Nice (Goncalves, Scherer)118/5-1

3: Tuff Grit (Delorme, McFarlane)123/7-2

6: Clever Endeaver (Richard, Rarick)123/20-1

7: Hrishi Suprem (Nolan, Bethke)123/10-1

8: Samstar (Franco, Rengstorf)118/4-1

MINNIE SODA NICE plunges from stakes race to claiming after breaking his maiden at this level and distance two back, expect to be on front end. SAMSTAR exits a nice win after shadowing the speed on the inside for ground saving trip. LUXURY AND GLITTER and GHAZABLANA have a shot but need to step it up a notch.

6 6 furlongs. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $6,250. Purse: $11,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Bella Parvati (Richard, L. Canchari)123/20-1

6: Empress Wildcat (Nolan, Bethke)119/10-1

7: Passing Affair (Mello, Arnett)123/15-1

8: Stephen's Truth (Goncalves, Amoss)123/7-2

9: She's Coal Hearted (Hernandez, Berndt)119/5-2

SHE'S COAL HEARTED is the one to beat after a dominating gold medal performance at this level last out, one to catch to get the win. A P PEPPER and LADY'S DAY OFF appear to be the main threats while running late and trying to catch up to the favorite.

7 6 furlongs. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $6,250. Purse: $12,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Thecausewaykid (Butler, Rhone)123/8-1

2: W W Concerto (Sanchez, Lund)123/12-1

3: Never Hide (Goncalves, Ashford, Jr.)123/10-1

5: Unchartedterritory (Nolan, Bethke)123/20-1

6: Moonlit Park (Richard, Rarick)123/9-2

7: Fort Lewis Rivers (A. Canchari, Berndt)119/6-1

8: Flyby Dubai (Franco, Van Winkle)123/5-1

9: Deadly Black Eagle (Delorme, McFarlane)123/9-2

CLOSET E is the day's best on this card with numbers towering the field, single on most Pick 4 tickets. THECAUSEWAYKID swung four wide to get up for second best last out and gets positive jockey switch to Butler. DEADLY EAGLE EYE also ran for second honors last out after chasing the pace in the short sprint.

8 5 furlongs. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $5,000. Purse: $12,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Sarah M. (Mello, Jon Arnett)119/12-1

2: Just Have'n Fun (Vergara, Diodoro)119/3-1

3: Chumash (Richard, Rarick)119/10-1

4: Witch Alert (Butler, Rhone)121/7-2

5: To B a Noitted (Franco, Rarick)119/4-1

6: My Crazy Dayse (Goncalves, Riecken)119/8-1

7: Sweet City Song (Carreno, Turco)119/10-1

8: It's Amore (Goodwin, Riecken)121/6-1

9: Blue Ra Ra (Eikleberry, Olmstead)119/12-1

WITCH ALERT ships up from Iowa after going gate to wire on their home field, she seems to be on right path for consecutive wins. JUST HAVE'N FUN drops for half the price for top trainer Diodoro after failing to fire last out. TO BE A NOITTED too drops for 50 percent and jockey Franco shows confidence while staying aboard.

9 1 mile. State-bred. Fillies and mares. 3-year-olds and up. Maiden claiming: $10,000. Purse: $12,500

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Solar Star (Carreno, Rhone)123/6-1

2: Play N Truth (Butler, Rhone)123/5-2

3: Willow Spring (Joubert, Hanson)118/2-1

4: Tahkodha Slew (Goodwin, Sheehan)123/20-1

5: Panela's Secret (Franco, Rhone)118/10-1

6: Cal's Pal (Goncalves, Scherer)118/3-1

7: Greeley's Gazette (Hernandez, Donlin)123/15-1

8: Taedee (Lopez, Jr., Fennell, Jr.)118/20-1

In what appears to be a three horse-race in the nightcap, I'll put WILLOW SPRING on top after running her career best last out finishing second best. Strictly the one to catch as lone speed. PLAY N TRUTH gets major class relief off the turf and is a strong consideration for the Butler/Rhone team. CAL'S PAL showed improve forward position last out and has some things to like to move forward.
