The Twins, who announced on Dec. 18 that Joe Mauer's No. 7 will be retired, set June 15 for the pregame retirement ceremony. The first 20,000 fans in attendance for the 6 p.m. game against Kansas City will receive a No. 7 baseball cap.

The Twins also revealed plans for a series of four giveaway bobbleheads commemorating Mauer. Those game dates are May 24 vs. the White Sox, July 19 vs. the A's, Aug. 24 vs. the Tigers, and Sept. 7 vs. Cleveland.

He pushed his career-best goal scoring streak to five game by scoring the game-winner in the Gophers' 4-1 win over the Nittany Lions last Saturday.
