The Timberwolves on Wednesday night got off to a roaring start in Detroit, scoring the first nine points despite playing for a second consecutive night without an ill Jimmy Butler.

Soon after that hot start, the Wolves fell apart on the way to a second consecutive blowout loss.

Butler's upper respiratory infection figures to be clear by the time the Wolves next take the court Friday night against the Thunder.

But if this whole basketball thing starts to go south for the three-time All-Star perhaps acting is in the cards.

Earlier this week, country star Luke Bryan began posting Instagram previews for his new music video "Light It Up" - featuring Butler.

#LightItUp @jimmybutler I partnered with @samsungmobileusa on the official music video...check it out Thursday.
