Jamey Johnson, the widely acclaimed, award-winning country singer-songwriter, has called off his benefit performance tonight at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis. His bus broke down near Milwaukee, and Johnson cannot make it to the Twin Cities, the Fine Line was told.

However, opening acts Keith Anderson and Chris Jessen will play a free show at the Warehouse District club. Johnson has rescheduled his appearance for Feb. 27 at the Fine Line; tickets will be honored for that gig or refunds are available at place of purchase. The rescheduled show will remain a benefit for Vikings star Jared Allen's Homes 4 Wounded Warriors. But there will be a silent auction tonight as part of the fundraising activities.

Sounding like the second coming of Waylon Jennings, Johnson is best known for his 2008 hit "In Color," which was named song of the year by both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. With his 2010 double-album, "The Guitar Song," receiving rave reviews, his Twin Cities debut at the Fine Line was hotly anticipated.
