It's interesting watching what goes on with fishing and the weather. One day it's good to go - the next it's too windy to head out. A bit frustrating for most.

Yet for those who find it as an adventure - or hit the lake when they can- you'll find the walleye in depths of 10 to 25 feet on the weed lines and humps of Otter Tail Lake. Crawlers, leeches and minnow are still the ticket.

The Otter Tail Sportsmen Club ran a great tournament last weekend. Even I got a chance to par-take! Carr and Carr won bringing in 6 fish weighing 18 pounds. Lots of fish were caught (and released I'll add) - so the fishing is good.

Crappies and sunfish have been great on area lakes in 5 to 10 feet of water.

Bass bite has been better than past years. You'll find them in the shallow water using buzz baits and Sally Jigs.

To get the up to the moment news on fishing - give Gary a call at Ken's Tackle. Fishing is on - still water or choppy!
