A 26-year-old Isanti man was killed early Saturday in a broadside collision on Interstate 35 in Pine County.
Just before 3 a.m., a minivan traveling on an icy road struck Nicholas Rickard's sedan, which was disabled in the traffic lane, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Rickard was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said. No alcohol was detected.
