The Twins are one of the hottest teams in baseball this month with a 7-3 record. Only Toronto has a better record in the American League in July.

The offense has led the way with 78 runs scored during this stretch, averaging out to 7.8 runs per game. They've scored 10-plus runs four times in the last 10 games with a high of 17.

This all sounds nice, but the Twins are still deep in last place in the AL with a 32-56 record, meaning they are more than a long shot to win the World Series. OnlineGambling.LV has the odds at 2500-to-1. Only the Atlanta Braves, the MLB's worst team, has worse odds at 5000-to-1.

Neither team should give up yet, though. We wrote earlier this year about Leicester City winning the Premier League championship despite starting the season with 5000-to-1 odds set by William Hill, a bookmaker based in England. Those are the same odds that Elvis will be found alive.

Several optimistic fans enjoyed big paydays after Leicester City's championship run and a similar payout would be in store for any confident Twins supporters.

If the Twins are able to make the greatest comeback in MLB history, a $10 bet today would pay out $25,000. If you aren't feeling that lucky, a $4 would still deliver a $10,000 prize. But remember, the Twins are 20 games behind Cleveland in the Central Division and 17.5 games back in the wild-card race.

That $4 might be better used for a hotdog at Twins game.

Twins manager Paul Molitor will most likely survive the second half of the season according to OnlineGambling.LV. Five other managers – Bryan Price (Cincinnati), Mike Scioscia (Los Angeles Angels), Bob Melvin (Oakland), Chip Hale (Arizona), Kevin Cash (Tampa Bay) – all have better odds of being the next fired manager.

The favorites to win the World Series are the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants each with 9-to-1 odds.
