A 39-year-old woman from White Bear Lake died in a run-off-the-road crash amid icy conditions Saturday morning in Stillwater.

Theresa Noye was traveling on Hwy. 96 near Kimbro Avenue in an SUV around 7:40 a.m. when her vehicle veered off the road, according to the State Patrol. It then went into a ditch and hit trees.

On Friday evening, a 57-year-old Iowa woman was killed in a sideswipe crash with a semitrailer truck in Fillmore County, in southeastern Minnesota.

Rochel Buck, of Cresco, was headed north on Hwy. 63 amid wet conditions around 4:38 p.m. when her Chevrolet Impala collided with the southbound semi, according to the State Patrol.

The semi driver, Kenneth Lynch, 49, of Independence, Iowa, was not hurt. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and no alcohol use by either was detected, the patrol said.
