INTERACTIVE: Private vs. public funds in MLS stadiums

Three of the 15 soccer-specific stadiums built in Major League Soccer over the past two decades were paid for by their owners – in Columbus, Los Angeles and San Jose. Two in Chicago and Vancouver were completely paid for by taxpayers. The map shows percentage of private financing for stadiums around the league.
