We learned some new details Tuesday about the body found in the shed in Rosemount that I wrote about Sunday. Investigators still don't know who he is, despite a tantalizing number of clues.

"Forensic analysis indicates the deceased has evidence of an old nasal bone fracture and moderate osteoarthritis," according to a Medical Examiner news release. "He likely did not seek routine dental treatment."

Then there's the leather knife sheath, found without a knife, but with letters scratched on its surface.

Detective Shawn McMenomy of the Rosemount Police told me by email last week that he could see several combinations of letters marked on the sheath. But investigators have apparently decided the most prominent letters say "DHT" If those are his initials, that narrows it down somewhat. But if he arrived on the rails, as a modern-day hobo from Texas, Canada or beyond, that may not be enough to track him down.
