The Gophers picked up another RPI top-50 win by squeaking by Michigan 83-78 in overtime Sunday. It was a matchup of two of the hottest teams in the Big Ten. Now Minnesota can get even hotter if it upsets Maryland for the second victory against a ranked opponent this season. Beating Purdue on the road is the best win on the résumé. This would be even bigger since the Terrapins have the highest RPI in the Big Ten at No. 17. It could even mean a top-five NCAA seed projection.
