A South St. Paul man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash at an Interstate 94 exit ramp in western Wisconsin has been identified, authorities said Tuesday.

John A. Burnside, 72, died in the crash Sunday afternoon on the exit ramp to Hwy. T in St. Croix County, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Burnside had just exited from eastbound I-94 and was pulling away from the stop sign when a car hit him on the driver's side, the Sheriff's Office added.

Burnside was dead at the scene. The other car's driver, Amy Olson, 38, of Hammond, Wis., and her 4-year-old daughter, were hurt but expected to survive.
