MANKATO, Minn. — As many as 20 vehicles blocked eastbound lanes of a highway between Mankato and North Mankato in a pileup blamed on drivers going too fast for icy conditions.
The Minnesota State Patrol says six or seven vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 14 Tuesday morning, causing the traffic snarl. KTOE (http://bit.ly/1dQYc3V ) reports one minor injury was reported.
The pileup closed that segment of the highway for about an hour during the morning commute.
