It's hardly road construction season, but orange cones and detour signs will be on on Hwy. 100 Monday night.
The Minnesota Department will shut down the highway in both directions between Interstate 394 and Hwy. 62 from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured to I-394, Hwy. 169 and Hwy. 62 or via I-394, I-35W and Hwy. 62.
Crews will be reconstructing the Cedar Lake Trail bridge over Hwy. 100. Residents living near the construction site should expect to hear noise from large equipment throughout the night, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.
