Human remains were found Sunday evening along the Minnesota River in the area of Interstate 35W and Black Dog Road in Burnsville, the Dakota County Sheriff's Office said.
The Sheriff's Office and the Burnsville Police Department are working together to investigate the discovery, according to a tweet sent Sunday about 7 p.m. by the Dakota County Sheriff's Office.
