Hubbard goes radio everywhere

The locally-based company is going from four stations to 21 across the country.

Who said radio is dead? No one at Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., that's for sure. The locally based company, which currently owns four stations, including KSTP-AM, has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acuqire 17 of Bonneville International's radio stations in Washington DC, Chicago, St. Louis and Cincinnati for $505 million. The formats range from everything to 80s rock to all news.

The purchase means Hubbard will go from 154 employees to 701.
