If you see a homeless person in need or if you want to be trained to become a volunteer outreach worker, call the St. Stephen's outreach team at 612-879-7624.
The team, headquartered at St. Stephen's Catholic Church at 2211 Clinton Av. S., is seeking permanent office space closer to downtown. If you know of such a space, call the above number.
A public forum will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 21 at Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Av. S., to discuss the outreach effort and the Minneapolis/Hennepin County plan to end homelessness. The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Minneapolis. For information, call 612-481-9501.
