Hip-hop site celebrates 10 years

January 5, 2008 at 11:03PM

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, this site draws 5 million visitors a month who love all things hip-hop. The well-organized, multimedia site offers exclusive interviews, reviews, news (and rumors), editorials, videos, podcasts and a chat board. Breaking-news dispatches are also sent -- at all hours -- via e-mail and cell phones to 500,000 followers. In the past few days, allhiphop.com had the latest on Ne-Yo suing R. Kelly after being booted from his tour, R&B singer Syl Johnson suing various stars who sampled his music and a new line of Ol' Dirty Bastard merchandise authorized by his estate. It's not all hype; there is almost as much police and courtroom stuff as you'll see on "Law & Order."
