Former Gophers basketball coach Clem Haskins hasn't surfaced much since he was fired from the University of Minnesota in 1999, so it might interest to fans to see what Haskins looks like now.
Thanks to John Thomas, another memorable Gophers' name, we get a little peek.
Thomas, a Minneapolis native who played on the Gophers' 1997 Final Four team, tweeted this picture of him with Haskins this weekend at the Legends World Sports Conference, a basketball alumni event of sorts in Las Vegas.
Haskins coached at Minnesota from 1986 to 1999, when he was terminated following the academic scandal that stripped the school of the Final Four appearance and other accomplishments.
He hasn't been heard from much since then – locally or otherwise – but it appears 'Ol Clem is still out and about and looking pretty good at the age of 73.
