A head-on crash in Hugo killed a driver and injured two people in the other vehicle, authorities said Monday.
The collision occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday on Hwy. 61 near 159th Street N., according to the State Patrol.
Killed was Mary L. Patterson, 35, of Center City, Minn., the patrol said. Injured were the other motorist, 18-year-old Mcklane R. Sanders, of Lexington, and his passenger, Todd G. Madland, 46, of Lino Lakes.
Patterson was driving her car north and Sanders was heading south in a pickup when the collision occurred. The patrol has not said who crossed the centerline on the two-lane highway.
