Have a little faith "A Home for the Holidays With Faith Hill" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) proves the host's continued popularity as she's able to attract such guests as Shakira, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Mary J. Blige. It also helps that the annual special revolves around a good cause: adoption.

A night at the opera Not a lot of operas have holiday themes, but "La Boheme" (8 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2) qualifies, if only because the first two acts take place on Christmas Eve. This new production, released theatrically this past October, features Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazon and is directed by Robert Dornhelm, who scored an Oscar nom for "The Children of Theatre Street."

Dave's holiday special I doubt that David Letterman will be buying gifts for his alleged blackmailer or Sarah Palin, but "The Late Show With David Letterman" (10:35 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) is once again willing to hand out its annual presents to viewers: Darlene Love's rocking rendition of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and Jay Thomas' tale of his adventures with the Lone Ranger.
