Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin did not practice Thursday because of a hip issue. That was the only change on the VIkings injury report from a day earlier.

Limited on Thursday were cornerbacks Cedric Griffin (knee) and Chris Cook (knee), defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy (knee) and left tackle Bryant McKinnie (dislocated finger).

Still on the injury report but not limited were quarterback Brett Favre (ankle/back), running back Toby Gerhart (knee) and center John Sullivan (calf). McKinnie, who was injured against the Saints, is wearing a restrictive splint on his index finger but said that will come off Friday and he will get a more manageable device for Sunday's game.Cook worked with the scout team for a second consecutive day.

"I'm just trying to get my feet back under me, so I've been working as hard as possible just trying to come back as soon as possible," said Cook, who underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in his right knee after being injured in the third preseason game against Seattle.

As for Harvin, he proved his toughness last season playing through a painful shoulder injury he suffered early in the year. Harvin did miss a game because of migraine headaches but appears to have a high threshold of pain.

The Dolphins injury report stayed the same with three players missing practice for a second consecutive day. Included in that group were defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis (illness), linebacker Channing Crowder (groin) and defensive end Jared Odrick (ankle).
