Harvin is finalist for rookie award

Percy Harvin is one of five players up for this week's rookie award.

Wide receiver Percy Harvin is among the finalists for the NFL Rookie of the Week honors.

Harvin had 214 total yards in Sunday's loss at Pittsburgh, catching three passes fo 42 yards and five kickoff returns that included an 88-yard return for a touchdown. The other finalists are running backs Shonn Greene of the New York Jets and Beanie Wells of Arizona; safety Jairus Byrd of Buffalo; and cornerback Jacob Lacey of Indianapolis.

This is one of those awards that fans can vote on. Just go to www.nfl.com/rookies. The winner will be announced Friday.
