Percy Harvin has battled migraines most of his life, and they have affected him at different times since being drafted by the Vikings.

Harvin has seen a number of doctors who have offered different ways for him to try and combat his severe headaches. In an interview with his hometown newspaper, The Virginian-Pilot, Harvin said he visited more doctors who fixed a problem involving his neck and that he hasn't experienced any migraines episodes in five or six months.

"This is the best I've felt, probably, since I've been in kindergarten," Harvin told the newspaper.

Harvin declined to discuss in detail what his doctors found or his treatment, but the results have been successful so far.

"There were a couple of things they found in my neck that I won't get into - some things they found and fixed, along with diet and the rest of the things that can cause them," he said. "It's been great, and knock on wood, it'll continue."

Harvin returned to Virginia this weekend to host a football camp at his former high school. He has been training in Florida during the lockout.

"My explosion is to a whole 'nother level," he told the newspaper. "My speed has gotten back to top-notch level, so I'm feeling great and really anticipating the season."
