MORTEN ANDERSEN: Kicker. New Orleans (1982-94), Atlanta (1995-2000, 2006-07), N.Y Giants (2001), Kansas City (2002-03), Vikings (2004). Played 25 seasons, holds NFL records for points (2,544), field goals (565) and games (382). Five-time All-Pro, seven-time Pro Bowler. Second year of eligibility. Native of Denver. Age: 53.

JEROME BETTIS: Running back. Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams (1993-95), Pittsburgh (1996-2005). Rookie of the year in 1993. Had eight 1,000-yard seasons. Rushed for 13,662 yards, fifth best in NFL history. All-Pro twice, Pro Bowler six times. Fourth year of eligibility. Born in Detroit. Age: 41.

DERRICK BROOKS: Linebacker. Tampa Bay (1995-2008). Did not miss a game in his 14-year career. NFL defensive player of the year in 2002 when had three interception returns for TDs. Returned interception for TD as Bucs won Super Bowl XXXVII. Six-time Pro Bowler. First year of eligibility. Born in Pensacola, Fla. Age: 40.

TIM BROWN: Receiver, return man. Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders (1988-2003), Tampa Bay (2004). When he retired, his 14,934 receiving years were second in NFL history, his 1,094 receptions were third and 100 TD catches were third. All-Pro as returner in 1988 and as WR in 1997. Nine-time Pro Bowler. Fifth year of eligibility. Born in Dallas. Age: 47.

EDWARD J. DEBARTOLO, JR.: Contributor category. Owner, San Francisco (1977-2000). Hired Hall of Fame coach Bill Walsh in 1979. Won 13 division titles, made 16 playoff appearances, advanced to NFC title game 10 games, and won five Super Bowls. 49ers had best winning percentage in NFL in 1980s and 1990s. Served on realignment and expansion committees. Born in Youngstown, Ohio. Age: 67.

TONY DUNGY: Head coach, Tampa Bay (1996-2001), Indianapolis (2002-08). Made playoffs four of six seasons with Bucs, won at least 12 games in six of seasons with Colts. Won Super Bowl XLI with Indy, first black coach to do so. Overall 148-79 record, including 139-69 (.668, seventh best among coaches with 100 victories) in regular season. First year of eligibility. Played for Gophers, was assistant coach with Vikings. Born in Jackson, Mich. Age: 58.

KEVIN GREENE: Linebacker, defensive end. Los Angeles Rams (1985-92), Pittsburgh (1993-95), Carolina (1996, 1998-99), San Francisco (1997). Double-digit sack totals 10 times in 15 seasons. All-Pro three times, with three different teams. Five-time Pro Bowler. Had 160 career sacks, third most at the time of his retirement. 10th year of eligibility. Born in New York City. Age: 51.

CHARLES HALEY: Defensive end, linebacker. San Francisco (1986-91, 1999), Dallas (1992-96). Only player in history to be on five Super Bowl-winning teams. Had 100.5 career sacks. Two-time NFC defensive player of the year. Sat out two full seasons after back surgery. 10th year of eligibility. Born in Gladys, Va. Age: 50.

MARVIN HARRISON: Receiver. Indianapolis (1996-2008). Had eight straight seasons with at least 100 catches, 1,000 yards receiving and 10 TDs. Set NFL record with 143 catches in 2002. Won Super Bowl XLI. 1,102 career receptions, 14,580 yards and 128 TDs. Six-time All-Pro, eight-time Pro Bowler. Born in Philadelphia. First year of eligibility. Age: 41.

WALTER JONES: Offensive tackle. Seattle (1997-2008). Nine-time Pro Bowler, All-Pro six times. Helped Seattle advance to Super Bowl XL. First year of eligibility. Born in Aliceville, Ala. Age: 40.

JOHN LYNCH: Safety. Tampa Bay (1993-2003), Denver (2004-07). Nine-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro. Won Super Bowl XXXVII. Had 26 career interceptions and more than 1,000 tackles. Second year of eligibility. Born in Hinsville, Ill. Age: 42.

ANDRE REED: Receiver. Buffalo (1985-99), Washington (2000). His 951 receptions were third in NFL history when he retired. Catches were good for 13,095 yards. Played in four Super Bowls with the Bills. Seven-time Pro Bowler. Ninth year of eligibility. Born in Allentown, Pa. Age: 50.

WILL SHIELDS: Guard. Kansas City (1993-2006). Never missed a game in 14 seasons. Chiefs won four division titles and made six playoff appearances during his tenure. All-Pro three times, Pro Bowler 12 times. KC led NFL in points in 2002 and 2003. Third year of eligibility. Born at Fort Riley, Kan. Age: 42.

MICHAEL STRAHAN: Defensive end. N.Y. Giants (1993-2007). Played 15 seasons, had 141.5 sacks, including an NFL record 22.5 in 2001 when he was the league's unanimous defensive player of the year. All-Pro five times, seven-time Pro Bowler. Won Super Bowl XLII. Second year of eligibility. Born in Houston. Age: 42.

AENEAS WILLIAMS: Defensive back. Arizona (1991-2000), St. Louis (2001-04). Played cornerback for 12 seasons, safety for two, made Pro Bowl at both. Had 55 career interceptions, and returned nine for TDs. Eight-time Pro Bowler, had interceptions in four consecutive postseason games. Third year of eligibility. Born in New Orleans. Age: 46.

RAY GUY: Senior nominee. Punter. Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders (1973-86). First punter to be taken in the first round (23rd overall in 1973). Led NFL in punting three times, career average was 42.4 yards. Six-time All-Pro, seven-time Pro Bowler, won three Super Bowls. 23rd year of eligibility. Born in Swainsboro, Ga. Age: 64.

CLAUDE HUMPHREY: Senior nominee. Defensive end. Atlanta (1968-78), Philadelphia (1979-81). Credited with 122 sacks. Five-time All-Pro, six-time Pro Bowler. 28th year of eligibility. Born in Memphis. Age: 69.
