The Vikings lead the Bucs 23-9 at halftime on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium in their second preseason game.

The Good: Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had another solid outing during the preseason. He was on the field for the Vikings' first two drives, finishing 7 of 8 for 86 yards. The Vikings scored on both possessions with a 46-yard field goal by Blair Walsh and a one-yard touchdown run by fullback Zach Line.

In two preseason games, Bridgewater is 12 of 14 for 130 yards on three drives.

Shaun Hill has been sharp as well against a bad Bucs defense. He is 8 of 9 for 102 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bad: Bucs rookie quarterback Jameis Winston picked on rookie cornerback Trae Waynes for his first two completions. On the second defensive possession, Winston connected with Vincent Jackson for 40 yards and Louis Murphy for 17 yards with Waynes on the coverage.

Waynes made a nice play on tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins two plays later to force an incompletion, but it's still a work in progress for the first rounder as he gets acclimated to the NFL.

Wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson was called for a taunting peantly after headbutting linebacker Kwon Alexander on an eight-yard completion. The Vikings ended the previously offensive drive with a 21-yard touchdown reception by Patterson.

The Ugly: Right tackle Phil Loadholt was carted into the locker with what has been described as a lower leg injury. He took off his left shoe and appeared distraught after limping off on the second play of the game. You can read more here about Loadholt's injury.
