H&M in Uptown

No longer do Minneapolitans have to go to the 'burbs to get their fast-fashion fix. Swedish chain H&M opens a two-level store at Calhoun Square -- its fifth location in Minnesota -- on Friday at noon. At 23,000 square feet, it's about the same size as the Mall of America location, making it the center's biggest retail attraction. The new H&M will offer its full assortment of affordable, high-fashion clothes and accessories for women, men and kids, including maternity, lingerie and sports apparel. (3001 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 855-466-7467 or www.hm.com.)
