Gulls follow tractors for an easy insect meal

Spring plowing often attracts a crowd

MIgrating gulls follow tractors engaged in spring field work to find an easy meal. Disturbing field soil exposes grubs and other food items, quickly found by the cloud of gulls. In this case, in western Minnesota a few days ago, the gulls were Ring-billed.
