Minneapolis is getting Green Day early. The California rock trio will perform July 11 at Target Center as part of its 38-show summer tour, which begins July 3. The band will be promoting its new "21st Century Breakdown," due May 15. On its American Idiot Tour, Green Day performed in Minneapolis in November 2004 and in St. Paul in September 2005.Ticket details will be announced soon.
