Contemporary Christian music star Chris Tomlin has booked the Xcel Energy Center for a concert in October, promoters announced Monday.
The 45-year-old Tomlin brings his "Good Good Father" tour to the St. Paul arena on Oct. 13.
Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday and range in price from $27.50 to $77.50 before fees. Purchases can be made at the Xcel Energy Center box office, by telephone at 1-800-745-300 or online at ticketmaster.com.
Tomlin's arena-ready, testimony rock has earned him more than 20 Dove Awards and a Grammy in 2012 for best contemporary Christian album.
The Texan last played the Twin Cities in March 2015, with that show at Target Center.
