Wheat, corn, oat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices also rise

CHICAGO — Grains futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 6.5 cents to $7.005 a bushel; July corn fell 9 cents to $6.7325 a bushel; July oats fell 8.5 cents to $3.9475 a bushel; while July soybeans dropped 25.5 cents to $14.975 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.40 cent to $1.20 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.23 cent to $1.4442 a pound; July lean hogs rose 0.28 cent to $1.0025 cents a pound.
