Gophers wrestlers thrash Indiana

The No. 3 Gophers wrestling team dominated host Indiana in Bloomington, winning a Big Ten match 41-3.

Three wrestlers had pins for the Gophers (10-1, 4-0 Big Ten): Dylan Ness at 149 pounds, Logan Storley at 174 and Scott Schiller at 197. The Gophers won nine of 10 matches, including two over wrestlers ranked in the nation's top 15. Cody Yohn, ranked 12th at 165, beat No. 10 Ryan LeBlanc 6-1, and heavyweight Tony Nelson, ranked second, beat No. 13 Adam Chalfant 4-1.

Gophers sweep Hawaii in swim meet • The Gophers swimming and diving teams made it a sweep, each team defeating host Hawaii. The No. 15 men's team improved to 3-1, winning 13 of the 16 events. The No. 13 women's team reached 6-0, winning all 16 events.
