The Gophers women's basketball team (4-0) will play Georgia (3-1) at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Junkanoo Jam in Bimini, Bahamas.

Minnesota's first three wins came against 2016 WNIT teams. The Bulldogs will be the second 2016 NCAA tournament team the Gophers have faced. They are coming off a 90-57 rout of Seton Hall on Sunday.

The Gophers are averaging 85 points per game; Georgia is holding opponents to 54.2 points and outrebounding them by 11 per game. Top Bulldogs scorers are Caliya Robinson (16.3 points per game) and Pachis Robertson (14.5).

Georgia coach Joni Taylor led the Bulldogs to a 21-10 record last season in her first year, but she won't be at the game. She recently gave birth to a baby girl, Jacie Elise. Associate head coach Karen Lange will lead the team in the Junkanoo Jam.

Carlie Wagner is averaging a team-high 23.5 points for the Gophers. Kenisha Bell is next at 17 points and also is averaging 7.3 assists per game.

If the Gophers beat Georgia, they will play either North Carolina or South Florida at 5:45 p.m. Saturday. If they lose to Georgia, they will play at 6:45 p.m. Friday against one of those teams.

Georgia won the only previous meeting with Minnesota, 65-61 in 1982 at the Dial Soap Classic in Miami.
