Gophers aim to bounce back after season low

Preview: Cal Poly (4-4), in the middle of a five-game, 11-day road trip, is coming off a 75-72 loss Monday at Eastern Washington. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the Mustangs. The Gophers (9-2) are coming off a 72-69 loss Sunday at San Diego. The 69 points set a season low for the Gophers.

Players to watch: Cal Poly guards Dynn Leaupepe and Lynn Leaupepe — twin sisters — were named to the preseason All-Big West Conference team. Lynn Leaupepe is averaging 14.1 points per game while Dynn Leaupepe is averaging 13.5 points. G Kenisha Bell leads the Gophers in scoring (19.5 points per game).

Numbers: Sophomore Taiye Bello matched her career high of 12 rebounds on Sunday to become the fifth Gophers player to have at least 10 rebounds in a game this season.

Injuries: Lynn Leaupepe played just 3½ minutes Monday before leaving the game with an undisclosed injury.
