The Gophers won't have safety Damarius Travis back for Saturday's game against Nebraska, after all. Travis has been out with a hamstring injury since the season opener against TCU. The Gophers had hoped to have Travis back this week, but the senior isn't quite ready, coach Jerry Kill said Wednesday.

Kill said defensive linemen Scott Ekpe and Gaelin Elmore will both return their unspecified injuries this week, and said the team will "maybe" have All-Big Ten cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun back from his knee injury. Boddy-Calhoun has missed the past two games.

Adekunle Ayinde, a sophomore walk-on from Blaine, will continue filling in for Travis.

"Nobody talks about Kunle," Kill said. "He goes un-noticed. He's been probably the MVP, the guy that's come in and gone unnoticed. He's played a lot and he's played real well."
