Boston College, for the fourth week in a row, was a unanimous pick for the No. 1 team in college hockey in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll. The Eagles received all 34 first-place votes from a panel of coaches and sports writers.

The Gophers climbed up four spots to No. 2, jumping over Union. The Dutchmen dropped one spot to No. 3 despite winning the East Regional. No. 4 is the other team in the Frozen Four, Ferris State.

BC has been in USA Today's poll all 25 weeks, the Gophers for the last 24. One new team this week is the Air Force Academy, which makes its debut at No. 15 after losing 2-0 to BC in an NCAA first-round game.
