Preview: The Gophers (15-5, 3-4) are looking to stop a three-game losing streak with a rematch Wednesday against Ohio State in Columbus. They defeated the Buckeyes 78-68 on Jan. 8 at Williams Arena. Minnesota has eight consecutive losses at Value City Arena since its last victory there in 2005. … The Buckeyes (12-8, 2-5) started the Big Ten season 0-4 for the first time under coach Thad Matta, but they've won two of their past three games, 67-66 at Nebraska and 72-67 against Michigan State at home.

Players to watch: Freshman Amir Coffey had a team-high 19 points in Saturday's 78-76 overtime loss against Wisconsin. Coffey is averaging 12.9 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and a team-leading 43.4 percent shooting from three-point range in seven Big Ten games. … Ohio State junior forward Jae'Sean Tate has scored in double figures in 14 of the past 15 games, including 20 points and nine rebounds in the loss at Minnesota earlier this month.

Numbers: Dupree McBrayer started the first 19 games at guard for Minnesota this season until he was replaced Saturday by Akeem Springs, who will get his third start for the Gophers on Wednesday.
