Exhibition: Noon vs. Green Bay (BTN Plus) • Maturi Pavilion

Final exhibition has worthy cause

Preview: The Gophers added another tuneup game for the regular season to benefit hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. They already defeated Creighton 91-79 on Oct. 22 in a closed scrimmage, and Concordia (St. Paul) 106-58 on Thursday in an exhibition game. But the NCAA allowed teams to play an extra exhibition to raise money for hurricane victims. Green Bay went 18-14 last season, including 12-6 for a third-place tie in the Horizon League. Senior guard Khalil Small (10.1 points, 5.1 rebounds) is the only returning starter for the Phoenix.

Players to watch: Gophers junior forward Jordan Murphy had 22 points on 9-for-10 shooting and 11 rebounds in 21 minutes Thursday against Concordia. Green Bay sophomore guard Kameron Hankerson had 15 points and eight assists in his team's 100-70 exhibition victory Monday over Ripon College in Wisconsin.

Numbers: The Gophers will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the game to American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
