Gophers tight end Maxx Williams is planning to announce his decision on whether to enter the NFL Draft today at 1 p.m., according to his family.
Williams, a third-year sophomore, is expected to become the first Gophers football player to leave school early for the NFL Draft since Laurence Maroney, who was a first-round pick (No. 21 overall) by the Patriots in 2006.
