The Gophers added another commitment from a recruit with several other Power Five school offers Wednesday, when Tyrik Henderson announced he has picked Minnesota.

Henderson, a 5-11, 165-pound junior from Glenbard North High School in the Chicago suburbs, is a consensus three-star recruit who also had reported offers from Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, Iowa State, Boston College and Missouri.

Henderson is the Gophers' 11th commitment for the Class of 2018. Earlier Wednesday, their class sat No. 11 nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings.

Henderson announced his decision in a video he posted on Twitter.
