The Gophers landed their fourth 2016 recruit from Florida on Wednesday, when linebacker Andre Polk, from South Fort Myers High School, gave them a verbal commitment.
Polk is a consensus three-star recruit who also had reported offers from Louisville and Iowa State. Other Floridians who have committed to the Gophers for 2016 include four-star wide receiver Dredrick Snelson, from Hollywood (Fla.) and twin defensive backs Elijah and Elisha Daniels, from Fort Lauderdale.
The Gophers now have 17 players committed in this class.
