The Gophers' run atop the polls has ended. Boston College is the new No. 1.

Wisconsin's rare sweep of the Gophers ended their seven-week stay at No. 1. The Badgers defeated the Gophers by a score of 2-1 both nights at the Kohl Center, handing them just their third and fourth losses of the season.

The bad weekend dropped the Gophers to No. 2 and earned Boston College 47 of the first-place votes. The Gophers received 3 first-place votes.

The Gophers hadn't been swept since February 2012 and hadn't been swept in Madison, Wis., since the 1999-2000 season.

Wisconsin climbed into the Top 10 and into second place in the Big Ten standings with the pair of wins.

Michigan held its spot at No. 10 and comes to Mariucci Arena, this weekend.

St. Cloud State remained at No. 6 and Minnesota Duluth climbed a spot to No. 16.
