A 53-year-old man from Kenyon, Minn., was killed in a rollover crash Friday afternoon in Rice County, the State Patrol said.
Authorities responded to Hwy. 60 and Jacobs Avenue about 3:15 p.m., where two vehicles had rolled in a ditch after colliding on the highway.
Scott J. Kalina was driving east on Hwy. 60 when his vehicle smashed into a Volkswagen entering the roadway. He died at the scene. A 50-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, also from Kenyon, sustained noncritical injuries in the Volkswagen. They were taken to District One Hospital in Faribault.
All three were wearing their seat belts. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
